Athletes Unlimited is looking for an Administrative Coordinator to support the CEO, the Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations, and the overall company on special projects. The ideal candidate has strong written and verbal communication, as well as strength in problem solving, self-organization, time management, and interpersonal communication. The Coordinator will work closely with team members across the organization and will report to the CEO.


Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to CEO and SVP of Finance and Operations
  • Arrange travel and accommodations as needed
  • Assist in organizing meetings and events (both external and internal), organizing documents, taking meeting notes, and ensuring follow-ups as assigned
  • Support CEO in logistics around public speaking and events
  • Serve as office administrator on-site in New York City, including coordinating in-person meetings, receiving deliveries, ensuring proper function of office equipment, and restocking supplies
  • Build high quality visual and written presentation materials using tools like PowerPoint, Google Slides and Keynote (basic video editing skills preferred)
  • Support the CEO and SVP in ensuring quality internal and external communication and follow ups
  • Plan and execute events and offsites, including employee-only events, board meetings, and partner/client entertainment (e.g. scheduling, basic A/V, food, presentation materials)
  • Coordinate and manage corporate gifting
  • Work with HR to manage phone screenings and coordinate logistics for interviews
  • Assist in management of company event invitations and RSVPs
  • Help operations team with load-in and load-out during seasons as needed


Requirements
  • 2+ years of previous experience
  • Must be willing and able to work on-site at our office in midtown New York 3-5 days per week
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all COVID-19 policies and procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management, organizational, and problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines effectively
  • Eye for event design and experience (previous experience in event planning a plus)
  • Personable and solution-oriented customer service skills
  • Comfort interacting with colleagues, partners, and clients in a professional and friendly manner
  • Willingness and ability to travel to league locations flexibly as needed (~10-20% travel)
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when needed


Benefits
