As of December 31st, 2023, the XFL has officially merged with the USFL to create the United Football League (UFL). Our spring football legacy continues in 2024 under a new name, with the same goal: to make the spring football opportunity as strong as it can be. See you at a game!

In 2023, the new XFL’s ownership group led by Dany Garcia, Dwayne Johnson, and Gerry Cardinale's RedBird Capital Partners, relaunched a fan-first, fast-paced global professional football league with innovative rules and enhanced 360 game experience. The XFL brought entertainment to world class football, with the goal of advancing the game of football and expanding player opportunities when it launches in February 2023.
