Content Intern - Chicago Women's Soccer Academy

The Chicago Red Stars organization seeks intern candidates to join the Marketing team for the 2023 National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) season. The Red Stars Content Intern program provides hands-on experience with various duties and responsibilities required to brand a professional sports team. This role will work as part of the Marketing Content Team, learning and assisting in video, photo, and social media responsibilities. The intern will split time on duties aligned with their interests, curriculum requirements, and the team's needs.

Job Description: 

• Assist in creating short-form videos for brand awareness 
• Help produce videos for features, marketing material, gameday content, and sponsored content 
• Shoot video and photo content at in-person training in Bridgeview, IL, throughout the season. 
• Photograph and edit game day assets for marketing, communications, sales, and sponsorship. 
• Assist in content planning and copywriting 
• Assist with video and photo shoots as directed. 

Qualifications & Requirements: 

• Must include professional reel or portfolio to be considered 
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere and Lightroom/Photoshop preferred 
• Use of own phone, laptop, and camera equipment 
• Able to receive constructive criticism 
• Understanding of the creative process and willingness to collaborate with marketing team members 
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a high-energy environment. 
• Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. 
• Ability and internal drive to demonstrate a winning attitude and a strong work ethic in the performance of all job responsibilities.  
• Must be a student pursuing a Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited college or university. 
• Must be eligible to receive college credit for the internship. 
• Ability to intern for a minimum of 20 hours per week and attend 90 % of Chicago Red Stars home games. 
• Must have reliable transportation to the Chicago Red Stars Central office in Downtown Chicago and SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, IL
