This position serves as support for PGA TOUR TBA tournament revenue team. Acting as liaison between the PGA TOUR and Tournaments, this position will assist department leadership with administrative matters including sales, sales support, and marketing.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Sports Management, Marketing, or related area required.
  • Minimum two to four years hands-on experience in Sales, Sales Support, and or Marketing
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across multiple teams and at varying levels throughout the organization
  • Strong verbal, written communication skills
  • Must be efficient in dealing with a high volume of tasks, detail oriented
  • Ability to travel on occasion as needed
  • Able to safely operate a utility vehicle such as, but not limited to, golf carts, utility carts, and shuttle carts


Responsibilities/Duties


  • Assist TBA Revenue Team on all tournament revenue activities on the PGA TOUR and contribute to departmental operations, including: coordination of sales committees, communication with sales teams, and marketing sales resources
  • Curate successful sales concepts that highlight best practices; produce and market easily consumable representations of these applications
  • Work in a creative capacity to market special tools and resources to our internal organization as well at our tournament sales teams and constituencies
  • Assist in promotion and execution of sales training materials, virtual sessions, and live events
  • Collaborate with PGA TOUR peer groups, Korn Ferry Tour and PGA TOUR Champions to identify and implement all relevant best practices from the other tours
  • Assist TBA Revenue Leads in strategic sales plan documentation for each tournament outlining goals and objectives, sales staff evaluation, products, renewal plans, prospecting, reporting, implementation of a CRM, etc. to ensure financial stability
  • Assist TBA Business Development Team with creating sales presentations as well as well as curation of hospitality pricing and options. This includes summarizing and memorializing call / meeting content.
  • Assist with administration of CRM- TBA Salesforce Dashboard data including managing reports, tracking of prospects, invoicing and payment processes
  • Contribute to additional departmental administrative matters as assigned such as tournament reporting, general communications, contacts lists, Honorary Observer program administration, peer group travel and expense management
  • Special projects or other duties as assigned
