EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Overview

• Just Women’s Sports is seeking a Producer for our growing production team. This person will be the backbone of a multi-channel content strategy, working hands-on at every step of the production process for multiple concurrent projects. Their responsibilities will begin with ideation and pre-production and carry through to post-production and delivery. Content will include original video, audio and digital.
• The ideal candidate is passionate about women’s sports and has experience scripting, shooting and editing content for digital platforms; as well as pricing and sourcing contractors as needed. They will possess the ability to craft compelling narratives which align with both our brand mission and voice. Organizational skills are a must, as is the ability to collaborate within a start-up environment, which requires both multi-tasking and the ability to prioritize.

What You'll Do

• Leading the JWS production team in the creative development, production, preparation, and delivery of original segments for social media channels, podcast, and digital video
• Working closely with team leads to set strategies to hit company goals
• Contributing ideas for day-to-day creation of content
• Collaborating cross functionally with social, sales, and marketing teams to align on content and execution tactics within their workflows and workloads
• Working directly with athletes, leagues, and teams to produce original content
• Producing, shooting, directing, and editing projects in multiple formats, including, but not limited to video podcasts, interviews, and original digital shows

Who You Are

• 7+ years of progressively complex production experience
• A passion for women’s sports
• An ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
• Knowledge of social media platforms, sports and pop culture, and trending events
• Experience building original and creative content and successfully distributing video on social media platforms
• Experience with Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator preferred
• Experience working in a deadline-oriented environment focused on quick turnarounds required
