Fellow, Football Administration
About the job
The Los Angeles Rams are looking to hire a detail-oriented and thoughtful Football Administration (“Football Admin”) Fellow to join our Football Admin team. As a Football Admin Fellow, you will work closely with all parts of our salary cap and cash management processes to maintain and improve the organization’s strategic/financial planning and maintain NFL Collective Bargaining Agreement (“CBA”) compliance. The ideal candidate is willing and able to collaborate in a fast-paced and team-centered environment, work autonomously, and contribute at a high level.
Note: This is a 12-month assignment, with an opportunity to extend for an additional 12-months.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and assist with various salary cap and cash management analyses for all 32 Clubs
- Support player contract analysis and processing
- Learn and assist in maintaining the compliance guidelines established by the NFL CBA
- Monitor, analyze and report league-wide transactions
- Work alongside the department and cross-functionally on various projects, day-to-day job requirements and other ad hoc tasks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or anticipated graduation date on or before June 30, 2024
- BASIC understanding of NFL Salary Cap accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong data sourcing, management, analysis, and visualization skills
- Prior work, internship, or fellowship experience in a data analysis, finance, or sports role
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and autonomously
- Detail oriented
Additional Requirements:
- Must be available to work in-office, weekends and holidays
Salary: Annual salary of $66,600
