WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Lead People Solutions Consultants drive the resolution of escalated, complex, and broad inquiries, and lead HR projects in their specific focus area (geography, segment, etc.). Lead Consultants have high strategic levels of HR generalist expertise, leadership acumen and deliver expert consult across all levels of the organization.
We are looking for candidates who enjoy collaboration, problem solving, and strategic thinking. As a Lead Consultant, you will arrange squad teams to solve large problems, leveraging HR’s operating model to achieve the strongest results. You must be comfortable with ambiguity and change, as you’ll help drive HR’s continuous push towards transformation and innovation. You will approach work with a consumer mindset, always putting the employee at the center of every interaction.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As a Lead People Solutions Consultant, you will drive HR initiatives that demonstrate the overall success and growth of Nike, while fostering a positive and productive work culture. You will be functionally aligned to a key Corporate Functions business group, where you will be a key thought partner with both business leaders and Business HR Partners. Your typical week will include a combination of proactive, project based strategic work in addition to responding to escalated employee and manager requests via Service Now. You will provide coaching, advising, and counsel to managers and employees in a wide range of topics, including: leadership development, performance management, organization transformation, process improvement, teaming, and more. You will leverage Nike tools and systems, such as SNOW and Work Day, to achieve positive results and drive enterprise adoption.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
This position uniquely interacts with many teams within HR and the business. You will work with key stakeholders inclusive of People Solutions, Business HR, COEs, and various business teams. You will report to the Sr. Director of People Solutions Consulting, Americas.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field or a combination of relevant experience, education, and training
- 5+ years of HR experience, demonstrating understanding of the full spectrum of HR programs and policies
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Nike business
- Demonstrated knowledge of HR’s operating model
