Position Description

Reporting directly to the Partnership Marketing Director, this position will manage and support the marketing activities for NWSL corporate partners. The position is responsible for daily successful management of specific corporate partner relationships, including;

  • Strategic planning with corporate partners to drive League and partner objectives.
  • Delivery of contracted sponsorship obligations. 
  • Driving development of new League platforms, partner opportunities, and incremental sales revenue.
  • Lead execution of new initiatives.
  • This role will also support overall department efforts, including event planning and execution, deck development, research, and ongoing internal and external communication. 


Primary Responsibilities 

  • This person will provide day-to-day support to the assigned corporate partners ensuring that all contractual obligations of both the NWSL and corporate partners are met.
  • This person is expected to possess deep knowledge of the companies that comprise his/her/their portfolio and the broader industries in which these companies operate.
  • Assist with the preparation of briefs for NWSL senior leadership and cross-departmental teams on the business strategies and performance of each of the companies within his/her/their portfolio of corporate partners. 
  • Work cross-departmentally to identify and develop new ideas and assets that meet both corporate partner goals as well as NWSL objectives and incrementally sell ideas to partner portfolios.
  • Conduct and facilitate cross-departmental planning sessions in support of Partnership Marketing programs.
  • Develop strong relationships with the day-to-day managers of the corporate partners within his/her/their portfolio. 
  • Create, monitor, and maintain reports that track the effectiveness of marketing programs that the NWSL implements with each of its corporate partners. 


Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.
  • 4-8 years of progressive experience in sponsor account management, partner marketing, or other related fields.
  • Experience building presentations, including graphics packages.
  • Experience managing partner relationships.
  • Experience working with partners to implement & upsell new ideas and programs.
  • Ability to work independently and execute without close supervision.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to maintain strong 'customer service' and follow-up with all partner requests.
  • Ability to deliver high quality work and execute under pressure/deadlines.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours in non-traditional settings within a professional sports atmosphere.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000/year

NWSL salaries are contingent upon candidates' qualifications, functional business needs, and market financials.
