Reporting organizationally to the Senior Manager, Venues, Sites, and Facilities, the Regional Manager, Venue Transport will be a key member of the FIFA26 Transport team, and work in close collaboration with the FIFA26 Operational Services team. The Regional Venue Transport Manager is responsible for the conceptual and operational planning as well as overseeing all Transportation operations is rendered to FIFA Constituents on the official FIFA World Cup 2026 Venues, Sites and Facilities (including but not limited to all official hotels for FIFA Constituent Groups, training sites, stadiums, International Broadcast Centre, Main Media Centre etc.) located on the territory of a conditional cluster. This position is also responsible to build, train and motivate the Venue Operation team of paid staff and volunteers for the duration of the FIFA26 project. The successful candidate is expected to be a self-starter and multitasker who works well under pressure and follows through on tasks.

THE POSITION

The main responsibilities and oversights of the Regional Manager, Venue Transport for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:

• Responsible for cost effective and efficient venue cluster transport operations
• Develop plans, budgets, and manages all Venues, Sites and Facilities Operation activities on the territory of a conditional cluster
• Develop plans, budgets, and manages all Venues, Sites and Facilities Operation activities on the territory of a conditional cluster
• Develop Transport Plans for FIFA Constituent for Venues, Sites and Facilities located on the territory of a conditional cluster
• Perform traffic analysis of operations and ensure proposed plans are tested
• Develop of Interim access plans for test events Coordinate with key stakeholders to obtain appropriate agreements and approvals Coordinate with all FIFA26 Functional Areas and transport systems to ensure plans are developed to fit with overall Transport proposals
• Work closely with Host City teams to coordinate FIFA Constituent Group transport provision and access for the territory of a conditional cluster as well as for the territory of the Venues, Sites and Facilities
• Work closely with Host Cities and contribute to the development of Local Area Traffic Management Plans
• Work closely with the Security to ensure transport plans are coordinated with the security provisions at the Venues, Sites and Facilities located on the territory of a conditional cluster
• Prepare reports on key performance indicators to ensure success of transport operations on the territory of a conditional cluster
• Prepare risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies for the territory of a conditional cluster
• Develops walk through and testing and readiness exercise plans for the territory of a conditional cluster
• Support delivery of Transport for all test events prior to the FIFA World Cup 2026

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Transport, Civil Engineering, Project management, Event Management, Major Sport events or a combination of education and experience relating to position.
• Master’s Degree is an additional asset
• Minimum of 5 years Transport work experience: ideally within the football, sport, event or Three (3) years of experience as a Venue Transport Manager, or three (3) years equivalent management position
• Experience in interviewing employees regarding accidents, complaints, grievances, and disciplinary actions. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
