This position will play a key role in developing engaging content for use across various social media platforms as part of the PGA TOUR’s Championship Management division. Responsible for producing high-quality visual and video content that aligns with tournament brand identity and drives fan engagement. This role will also be responsible for contributing to the team’s goal of increasing admissions revenues YOY, creating captivating storytelling content, and liaising between all digitally focused internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Marketing, Journalism, Media, or Communications preferred
- Minimum four (4) years of experience creating graphics, videos and other multimedia content for a professional brand
- A highly motivated individual with strong creative thinking and storytelling abilities, as well as a keen eye for detail
- Robust understanding of the current social landscape and respective best practices
- Proven experience within the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects)
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in design, photo, and video editing
- Background in golf preferred; interest in golf preferred
Responsibilities/Duties
- Develop compelling and engaging content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other emerging platforms
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop social media content that align with the unique selling propositions for each tournament within the Championship Management portfolio
- Develop, design, and produce unique social media graphics that increase page traffic, drive fan engagement and appeal to target audiences
- Develop, design and produce unique social media graphics that drive fan engagement and increase page traffic, as well as grow and diversify our fan base
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as graphic designers and videographers to create cohesive and visually appealing content that is aligned with the brand guidelines and messaging
- Work cross-departmentally within the PGA TOUR to ensure optimum fan experience, partner exposure, tournament brand building
- Liaise with external stakeholders to deliver against promotional needs and goals within partner contracts from Global Partner, Proud Partner, Title Partner level through local level
- Contribute to digital and social support of Championship Management division goal of raising admissions revenue and growth of social media following
- Work with tournament staff for localized sponsor and fan experience storytelling in the digital space and promote charity and community impact messages in tournament markets
- Support department's corporate communications and marketing functions and special assignments
- Develop relationships with PGA TOUR staff, players, agents, vendors, and others
- Special Projects or other duties as assigned
