Description

The Home Edit is a full-service home organization company, a global lifestyle brand with a line of consumer products, and a media + content creation studio. Co-Founders Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin started their organizing business the day they met six years ago with a singular vision: combine home organization with a unique design aesthetic and share it with the world. Their blend of form and function has resonated with millions, and the duo are now the stars of the Emmy-nominated Netflix series Get Organized with The Home Edit, the authors of two New York Times’ number one best-selling books, the creators of multiple product lines sold in retail locations around the world and operate organizing branches in cities across the country.

The Home Edit is looking for an intern to work with our social team this Spring semester (March - End of May approximately). Interns will assist the social team with efforts across all social media platforms and support the company's growing presence.


What You Will Do

  • Join in brainstorming, creating, and editing content
  • Work with the team on various creative projects including strategy, copy writing, posting, and reporting
  • Designed to provide interested students with a hands-on industry experience


What We Are Looking For

  • Previous Social, Marketing or Agency internships are encouraged, not required as well as communications/marketing/PR related majors
  • We are looking for smart, driven interns who are eager to learn more
  • Applicants should have keen attention to detail, can-do attitude, and the ability to multitask
  • Excellent knowledge of all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok)
  • Up to date on all social media trends
  • CREATIVE with a strong visual vocabulary
  • Ability to shoot and edit video content for Reels and TikTok


Requirements
  • Interns must provide their own housing and transportation
  • Interns must be current juniors through recent grads (within 6 months of internship start date). Graduate students are eligible to apply
  • Available to work 24 hours/week (will work with your schedule)
  • All internships are paid
