The Role


Location: This role is located at The National Tennis Center in Queens, NY.


Date: June 1,2024 - September 27, 2024


As a valuable member of our seasonal administrative staff, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the player relations team leading up to and during the US Open. Your responsibilities will span operational and administrative tasks, ensuring the seamless execution of professional tennis operations and player services. Dive into the dynamic world of sports and events as you contribute to various ad-hoc projects and assist in managing player operations, from uniforms and paperwork to training and facility setup.


  • Provide operational and administrative support to the professional tennis operations and player relations team.
  • Assist in general administrative duties, projects, and various ad-hoc tasks related to events.
  • Support player operations seasonal staff, handling uniforms, paperwork, and training.
  • Aid in the setup of player areas, including offices, locker rooms, fitness centers, practice courts, and other related spaces, managing supplies and inventory.
  • Collaborate with the facility operations team to address player area needs.
  • Manage room setups and keys for efficient functionality.
  • Assist in the development of player communication documents.
  • Support the creation of collateral and signage for player areas.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of the player gifting program.
  • Assist in coordinating US Open champions' parties.


Who You Are


  • Punctual and professionally presented, maintaining neat grooming and a well-maintained uniform.
  • Positive demeanor with excellent communication skills.
  • Availability to work the full duration of the US Open tournament, including days, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Bilingualism is preferred.


The salary range for this position is $20.00-25.00 per hour. This position is non-exempt. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills.
